Super Motley's Het. Albino

News/M1F_07_20_11_2.jpg

These are a first for us and we are excited to see how they do.  We know that they have not done well for the few that produced them, but we are hoping for better results due to the outbreeding program used to produce them.  They are the product of a Sunglow Motley Male bred to a 2 time outcrossed Motley Female.  We will be updating everyone with the status of these as they grow.  Judging by the litter we feel they have an excellent shot at being healthy.  19 Perfect babies and only 2 Infertile, no dead babies, no bloated bellies, just perfect little black snakes!

Salmon Super Jungles

News/J1F_06_29_11.jpg

This is a repeat breeding from 2 years ago and the results could not have been better from this Jungle x Salmon Jungle Het. Albino breeding.  We got 19 healthy, large babies, 1 deformed live baby and 2 infertile.  For the last 3 season this female has given us nice healthy large litters of very big strong babies.  Now, she is set for a year off and she can enjoy some relaxation and alone time this winter!

A Sharp Albino Day

News/HSA1F_06_21_11.jpg

News/SA5F_06_21_11_2.jpg

2 Litters today.  The first Litter was Sharp Albino x Het. Sharp Albino who gave us 21 healthy babies and 2 Infertile.  She also gave us a generous number of white snakes, so the odds makers were on our side on this one.  The 2nd litter was a Sharp Albino Female bred by 2 Males (Sharp Sunglow & Jungle Het. Sharp).  We got a real mixed bag on this one.  12 Live babies, 4 Stillborn, 9 Infertile.  We got a mixture of Hypos, Jungles, Sharp Albinos, Normals & Sharp Sunglows.  A very good day overall, check back for updated photos of the unique ones in the litter.

A Nice Big Litter of Motley's

News/N1F_litter_06_07_11.jpg

Our second litter of the season was a nice one.  33 Babies is total, 17 Motley's 16 Normals.  This one was by the book from the 105 Days from Post Ovulation Shed all the way down to the split between Motley's and Normals.  You can't ask for a better litter from a first time breeding female.

Summit Pastel Super Salmon Jungles

News/DSCF3671.JPG

Our first litter of the season was a small but rewarding one.  14 Babies, 8 infertile and 1 Still Born.  These are 2nd generation Summit Pastel Salmon Jungles from a Summit Pastel Salmon x Salmon Jungle breeding.  Not much for aberrancies, but some very nice colorful babies that will be a very hearty cornerstone to any breeding project.

News/06.S16.SJ13F_05_14_10_4_sm.jpg

We finally had our first litter of the season on May 14, by far the latest we have ever gone into the season without a litter.  The good news is we got 1 Jungle Sunglow, 1 Super Salmon Super Jungle Het. Albino, 2 Salmon Jungles Het. Albino, 1 Sunglow and 1 Salmon Het. Albino.  The bad news.... we have to wait until late June for our next litter!
